Hebdo editor finally acquitted

Reporters Without Borders reports that a Paris appeal court has once again acquitted Philippe Val, editor of Charlie Hebdo, on charges of insulting Muslims.

The appeal against the original verdict was brought be the Union of Islamic Organisations of France. Perhaps now they will let it go.

    Extremists are mate, its really not limited to Muslims unfortunately. Christian Bishop attempting to ban books from schools that critisise Christianity. Banning Books in this day and age. bloody fools all of them.

    Anyway, the reason for my post – anyone able to translate the french on that poster for me ???

    Bob it’s the front page of the Charlie Hebdo issue in question. “Mahomet débordé par les intégristes” means Muhammad overwhelmed by fundamentalists. He is saying “It’s hard to be loved by morons”.
