Beyer exploits another murder
Why waste a violent death when you can use it to promote your moribund, intellectually bereft pressure group?

MediaWatchWatch was set up in January 2005 in reaction to the religious campaign against the BBC's broadcasting of Jerry Springer: the Opera.
We keep an eye on those groups and individuals who, in order to protect their beliefs from offence, seek to limit freedom of expression. And we make fun of them.

I like the irony of one of the news items next to the letter. “Killers let loose in Belfast” – it’s about the band obviously, but has delicious irony on a number of levels. The headline of the item is “We’ve finally caught up with The Killers”. La dee dah.
What else do you expect from Beyer? I bet he’s salivating over the prospect of using the murder of 11 year old Ryhs Jones to pull in some more paying members for mediawatch-uk as well!
Beyer (nor Whitehouse before him) cannot understand that an apparent cause and an observed effect aren’t automatically related. It’s a wonder he doesn’t work for the Daily Mail.
The pathetic fallacy is alive and kicking – little wonder people like him can’t differentiate. Mind you, they’d have to want to!
There’s plenty of violence in the Bible. The world would be a much safer place if we banned that and its related fiction.
